About Cambridge Healthlink
Health Link Cambridge was established as a not for profit organization in May of 2005. The vision for this initiative began when family physicians, visiting and considering Cambridge as a location to set up a new practice, expressed their interest in joining an established clinic. A lack of this type of space prompted a group of individuals from the Doctor Recruitment Task Force to establish a subcommittee with a view to carry out this vision to establish and operate a new clinic in Cambridge, and on March 1st, 2007, the Health Link clinic opened its doors.
The objectives of Health Link Cambridge include:
1. To promote the city of Cambridge as a desirable location for medical persons to locate and carry on their professions.
2. To foster good health as promoting the best interest of the community.
3. To establish and operate a medical clinic(s) for community residents.
4. To promote the health and well being of residents by providing opportunities for physicians and other health care professionals to practice medicine.
5. To support the recruitment and retention of physicians and other health care professionals in the community.
With the partnership of various stakeholders including the Cambridge Chamber of Comerce, Gerry Martiniuk MPPs office, and the financial assistance from the City of Cambridge, we have created a unique opportunity and facility which we believe has met the above objectives.
Family Physicians
We currently have three family physicians at Health Link Cambridge.
Dr. Russell Ashton has been a family doctor in Cambridge since 1995 and has been with Health Link Cambridge since it’s inception.
Dr. Sarah Kolk began her practice at Hespeler Clinic in Cambridge in 2004 and has served at Health Link Cambridge since opening day.
Dr. Huyen Pham began her practice in Cambridge as a locum at the Hespeler Clinic and is now rostering new patients at Health Link Cambridge.
Allied Health Care Professionals
In the near future we will be adding allied health professionals to our staff. We will have a nurse practitioner to serve select patients, a social worker to assist health related issues, and a dietician to advise patients on diet and nutrition.

All the Family Physicians are members of the Two Rivers Family Health Network.
